Base Village Approvals Good for Market, Study Shows

If history repeats itself, the Snowmass real estate market should react favorably to the recent approval of Base Village, according to a study conducted by broker Tara Turner of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Aspen Snowmass Properties.

For years, the sluggishness in the Snowmass market has been attributed to the stalled Base Village, the 1.1 million sq ft mixed-use project that abruptly halted construction in 2009. It’s something Tara says she’s been telling her clients for so long she started to wonder if she could prove it.
