Look Hooo’s in Town

It’s caused the biggest buzz of the spring off-season — a family of great horned owls has taken up residence high up in a stately evergreen just off the walking path by the temporary library/former art museum in Aspen. Local social media feeds have blown up with photos of these impressive birds, and there’s a constant stream of visitors to the site, including parents introducing their children to the natural wonders unfolding before their eyes and others making repeat visits to check on the family’s progress. Eating local doesn’t end with farmers’ market

October 12 marks the final day of the Aspen Saturday Market, and the last of the valley farmers’ markets to wind up for the season.
