Investment in the Basalt community is at an all-time high. Even as this small mid-valley town continues to wrestle with how to redevelop parts of its downtown core, at least 200 affordable housing units are in the pipeline, while upgrades are in process for pedestrians and the schools, and the business community is booming. “What’s notable about many of the changes, whether they’re development plans or some other type of investment, is that they focus on long-term livability,” emphasizes our broker, Kristen Maley, a Basalt resident for many years.
