Aspen/Snowmass Enjoys Record Holiday Season

More Than Just a Big Gay Party

It’s Gay Ski Week in Aspen this week — and you’re invited.

Long known for being one of the winter’s biggest parties — this year is the 38th annual edition — Gay Ski Week is also the most important fundraiser of the year for the Roaring Fork Gay and Lesbian Community Fund (aka AspenOUT), which in turn gives to several other local nonprofits. Aspen Ideas Festival may only happen once a year, but thanks to a thirst for knowledge, the Aspen Institute’s desire to continuously spread ideas, and — perhaps most pertinently — technology, it’s possible for anyone at any time to access the thousands of topics, ideas, and debates that are channeled through the Aspen Institute’s summer think-fest as well as its other events and programs.
